Reference for Wally‘s Executive Home Management,

Walter (Wally) Antioch, principal of Wally’s Executive Home Management, of Gungahlin, A.C.T., was engaged by us to repair and paint the internal walls and ceilings of our house at Campbell. The house is 50 years old and comprises I large living/dining-room, 3 large-ish bedrooms, kitchen, laundry, bathroom, toilet, entrance hall and passage-way, with a total floor area of about 150 square meters.
Following an initial consultation at our home in late September 2013, Wally immediately prepared and supplied a concise comprehensive quote to our satisfaction and was engaged to commence the work on 1 October. He undertook to work between the hours of 8/9 a.m. and 3/4p.m each day for an estimated period of two weeks (9 working days with 1 public holiday), using top quality paint (Dulux Wash & Wear 101) and materials.
The repair work mostly consisted of fixing of cracks in the cornices and rendered walls, and a few larger areas of loose plaster revealed as the work progressed; a reasonable increase in total cost was agreed on to repair these large areas as they appeared, with wire mesh reinforcement.
A fixed fee covering the shifting of furniture, curtains, pictures etc. by Wally and his crew, had already been agreed. This removed a considerable burden as we are both over 80 years old, and ensured that the work proceeded rapidly without hold-ups. As we lived on the premises throughout the work, some re-positioning of the furniture was carried out by the crew every morning and evening, and our special requirements were all accommodated. We were also quite happy to leave the house entirely in the care of Wally and his crew when we both went shopping for half the day.
The work proceeded smoothly, quietly and right on schedule by Wally’s two to three man crew, with minimal of disturbance to ourselves, flexibly and cheerfully adhering to the proposed time-table in spite of the small unpredictable diversions inevitable in a house of this age, and occasionally working past the 4 p.m. finishing time when necessary. We were continuously consulted as these diversions arose, and Wally contributed several valuable and constructive suggestions, on for example colour, and replacing small items of hardware free of charge.
Wally ensured that the repairs and painting were completed on schedule and to a high standard, and the furniture returned to its original positions. The interior is brighter, fresher and much easier on the eye than previously. We have no hesitation in recommending Wally and his crew for work of this nature.
